Nite Sopt Production was estabished for the business of radio broadcasting in Thailand and was the originator of bringing foreign concerts to Thailand. Being extremely successful at the time. The company also had an important rote in pushing the intellectual Property Law. Which was enforced shortly afterwards.

BNT was formed by ltthivat Bhiraleus, with a registered capital of 2 million baht.



    Itthivat Bhiraleus and Rujayapha Abhakorn formed Media Plus Co.,Ltd. Of which Itthivat Holds 100% of the company shares. Setup for radio broadcasting, Media Plus introduced dedicated format radio to Thailand, building Thailand's first national radio network, also being one of the first companies in Thailand to be heavuly involved in international concert production and promotion.



    Media Plus Operates 3 FM radio station : FM 88 (Smile Radio) , FM 95.5 (Radio Bangkok) and FM 105 (Soft Radio) in which the company manages all marketing , creating the unique concept of product indentity including Smile Radio 1, Smile Radio 2 , Smile Radio 3, all of witch were highly successful. These three stations became so popular that they created a market demand for radio stations , from which the bidding system that now exists evolved



   The marger of Media Plus with Wattachak Group Public Co.,Ltd. A large print media group and operators of cable TV programmer Thai Sky TV, formed an integrated media group of radio,TV and print.



    BNT enters a joint venture with Saha Cinema Holdings Co.,Ltd. A subsidiary of the Crown Property Bureau, to set up Siam Radio Co.,Ltd. To make radio prohramming for Jor Sor FM 94.5 MHz. The contact was subsequently extended for another five years and still continues.

   
Set up of Siam Phone Line Co.,Lts. to provide the "Audio Text" service CITY LINE 1505 , 1507 , the most comprehensive information and entertainment service and a pioneer in its field.



    In the political crisis of May 1992 there was censorship news and information. The group saw the importance of the media in disseminating information to the public thus assumed management of 28 RTAF radio stations in cooperation with INN (an affiliate of Saha Cinema) to produce a 24-hour " News and Talk" programme,which proved extremely popular with over 200,000 liteners per day.

   
The company signed an aqreement to work with Channel [V] Netherlands to set up Channel [V] Thailand as a joint venture between BNT and Star TV, to make music programmes for Thai teenage viewers with both Thai and international songs broadcast on UBC 48. Siam Radio Co.,Ltd. Gains concession for FM 95.0 MHz.



    BNT increases its capital to 257 million baht with IFCT Nomura/Jafco becoming a shareholder.



   BNT acquires 103.5 LOVE FM (easy listening Thai music) and Channel [V] Radio 102.5 FM (English contemporary hits).



    V-FM 104.5 FM (Thai contemporary hits) is acquired with AC Nielson figures showing 104.5 FM as 5th most listened-to station in Bangkok. Both 94.5 FM and 103.5 FM are in the top dozen most listened-to stations. Tapscan figures show even more favorable statistics.



    The company signed an Agreement of Commercial Representation with the MCM International Music channel form France to make MCM Thailand , to be broadcast 24 hours in English on UBC 50 to service foreign viewwes and Thais with Western tasres. It differs from the operation of Channel [V] in not having any Thai-language content

   
BNT begins broadcast of Fashion TV in Thailand on UBC channel 39.

   
BNT signs a Memorrandum of Understanding with Elmsdate Media Ltd. to esterblish a joint venture company called Thai Interactive Television to operate an interactive television service in Thailand.



    The company re-acquired its shares from IFCT Nomura/Jafco, with Itthivat Bhiraleus becoming 100% shareholder.

   BNT acquires 30% of Digital Onpa International with Itthivat Bhiraleus appointed as CEO.

   BNT Music Express Co.,Ltd. established to operate the CD on-demand vending machine business.

   BNT acquires Panorama Documentary Co.,Ltd. one of Thailandis leading producers of documentaries with local and international distribution from its 300-hours of programming and 5,000 stock shot library.

   The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with F.TV LIMITED to produce Fashion TV programmes for transmission in Asia.

   The company enters a contract to provide radio programming for World Space,the first satellite radio broadcaster in Asia. At present, programming is made in four formats: Love Channel (Thai easy listening),ER Express (Thai Pop), Gold Thailand (Classic Thai songs) and Look Tung No.1 (Thai Country Music).

   Siam Radio gains a 2-year concession for FM 94.5 MHz.

   BNT enters into a Shareholders Agreement with Eagle Supreme Overseas Ltd. to establish a joint venture company in Thailand to operate a broadband interactive subscription cable network.

   BNT is granted 5-year distribution on UBC channels 48 and 50 to provide locatized music television programming.



   The company increased its registered capital to 450 million bath.
