Channel [V] Thailand, the no.1 hit music channel in Thailand, is a joint venture between Broadcasting Network (Thailand) and STAR. It is broadcasting 24 hours over 400,000 subscribers by fiber-optic system of UBC (cable network) on channel 48.

    Channel [V] Thailand has started its business since 1996 by 100% self-produced by Thai crew and VJs to make the channel reaching to the target effectively, not transmitted satellite fee as other music stations. All shows have been produced in [V]'s studio airing over 25 shows of music and entertainment.

   As the channel is acknowledged as music channel, Channel [V] Thailand is covered by 80% of inter-local music videos around the world, with other 20% of Thai's life style and entertainment update. The play list is provided to 60% inter music videos and 40% of local so that the viewers can choose themselves what they wanna watch!

   Based on UBC Research - from the end of 2001- Channel [V] Thailand has been in the most top 5 favorite shows of the target 12-25 years and in rank top 10 of all age group, compared with over 30 channels included the local channel.
